“Del Mar al Cielo” (From Sea to Sky) is a work written in 1880 by Antonio Rubio Gómez that chronicles the adventure of a group of people from Almería who undertook an expedition to climb the summit of Mulhacén starting from Almería. Through the various stages, one can discover this unique ascent from the lands of Almería to the Mulhacén peak, retracing that 19th-century expedition recounted by Rubio and experiencing much of what those mountain pioneers sought and found along their route. The third stage runs from Jorairatar to Bérchules, passing through Cádiar and Narila.
